Teaching Clinic

Consultations at the Melbourne Eyecare Clinic are delivered by final year Doctor of Optometry students under the close supervision of our highly skilled and qualified optometrists. The teaching and learning component of our service provides the opportunity to reduce our fees for our services and products. Appointment times are longer than normal (up to 90 minutes) to allow for this learning and teaching component and close supervision.

Private Clinic

Our Private Clinic is co-located within the same facility as the Teaching Clinic. The Private Clinic is staffed by fully qualified optometrists with consultation appointment times running at the standard 30-45 minutes. You will be advised at the time of booking which private clinic times are available. The fees for our Private Clinic are in line with standard Melbourne metropolitan rates and will incur gap payments.
